Integral CPT-eligible programs available from the first semester of enrollment across Business, Technology, and Data Science.
Bay Atlantic University (BAU) is a private, non-profit university located in the heart of Washington, D.C., accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) and authorized by SEVP to issue I-20 forms to international students. BAU offers a Professional Hybrid Program Path designed for working professionals, combining flexible online coursework delivered via BAUHub with structured on-campus residencies in one of the world's most professionally connected cities. Through TIC's direct partnership with BAU, eligible F-1 students enrolled in the Professional Hybrid Program Path can access Integral CPT authorization from their very first semester of enrollment.
Authorized from First Semester of Enrollment: Practical training is fully integrated into the Professional Hybrid Program Path at Bay Atlantic University. Because applied professional experience is a required, integral component of the curriculum, students are eligible for Integral CPT authorization from their first semester of enrollment.
Continuous Authorization: Students maintain continuous CPT authorization for the entire duration of their 2-year master's program. CPT is renewed on a per-semester basis; students must submit a renewal request after completing class registration for the applicable semester and before the new CPT start date. The academic calendar is structured to ensure there are no gaps in CPT authorization during the academic year.
Regulatory Compliance: The university's Designated School Officials (DSO) manage the SEVIS process strictly in accordance with federal regulations. CPT is officially authorized under 8 CFR 214.2(f)(10)(i).
For more information on CPT rules, you can review the official guidelines on the Department of Homeland Security's Study in the States website.
All programs below are offered under the Professional Hybrid Program Path.
Students attend a minimum of one full weekend (Friday–Saturday–Sunday) per semester at BAU's Washington D.C. campus. Attendance at all required in-person residency sessions is mandatory for F-1 students. Online-only attendance is not permitted.
The remainder of your coursework is delivered entirely online via BAUHub, BAU's dedicated learning management platform, accessible 24/7 and designed for working professionals.
